23-07-2026 The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Conducted an Awareness Lecture at the Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) under the Title “Towards Sustainability… Waffir.”

As part of the national campaign “Waffir” to promote energy and water conservation, strengthen institutional partnerships, and foster a culture of rational electricity and water consumption, the Ministry’s Media and Awareness Team on Conservation delivered an awareness lecture entitled “Towards Sustainability… Conserve” at the headquarters of the Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), in the presence of the Authority’s President, Dr. Abdullah Al-Aaraj, and a number of its employees.

The lecture highlighted key daily practices that contribute to reducing electricity and water consumption and emphasized the importance of adopting rational consumption habits in both the workplace and everyday life. It also underscored the role of social responsibility in supporting the State’s efforts to preserve national resources and achieve sustainable development goals.

At the conclusion of the lecture, the Ministry’s team reaffirmed the importance of continuing cooperation with government entities in implementing awareness programmes and initiatives that promote a culture of efficient electricity and water use. The team also stressed the importance of enhancing environmental awareness and encouraging positive behavioural practices that support the optimal use of resources and safeguard them for future generations, expressing appreciation for the participants’ active engagement and their interest in the topics presented.
