The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Eng. Fatima Abbas Jowhar Hayat, announced the successful restoration and return to service of two additional power transmission lines, following the completion of repair works on damage caused by falling debris in the southern region of the country. This comes in addition to the five lines that were restored previously.

She explained that the repair works were carried out in accordance with the highest technical standards and approved safety and security procedures, affirming the continued stability of the power grid and the readiness of technical teams to respond to any emergencies.

Hayat also expressed her appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the national workforce, including engineers and technicians, who worked around the clock with high efficiency to restore the affected transmission lines to service.
