Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Abdel Aziz Al-Mukhaizim, in cooperation with the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, the Kuwait Sustainable Energy Conference and the accompanying exhibition were opened during the period from May 11 to May 13, 2025.

Where His Excellency the Minister delivered the opening speech and welcomed the honorable guests of the State of Kuwait, the official sponsors, and the participants in this conference, His Excellency emphasized the commitment of the State of Kuwait, represented by the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, to the development process and the sustainable efforts made in achieving clean and smart energy.

In the context of implementing the directives of His Highness the Prince of the country, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and preserve him, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Subah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, for his role in supporting regional and international efforts towards energy transformation and enhancing energy efficiency practices.

His Excellency opened the presentation of the Kuwait Sustainable Energy Conference with the participation of several local and international companies, where companies reviewed the latest technologies in the field of sustainability. This embodies Kuwait's presidency of this conference and the trust in Kuwait's leading role in the field of renewable and sustainable energy.
