His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment (Acting), in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Zamil, and a number of specialists, met with the Chargé d' Affaires of the United States Embassy in the State of Kuwait, Mr. Stephen R. Butler. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of electricity, water, and renewable energy.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen technical and investment partnerships, as well as reviewed future opportunities for cooperation between the ministry and specialized US agencies.

His Excellency the Minister praised the strategic relations between Kuwait and the United States, affirming the Ministry's keenness to promote the exchange of experiences and support energy transition projects. For his part, Mr. Butler commended Kuwait's efforts in developing the electricity and water sectors, affirming his country's readiness to enhance joint cooperation.
