The meeting addressed Tajikistan’s pioneering experience in water resources management and opportunities for the exchange of expertise and technical experience between the two countries, with a view to fostering cooperation in the areas of renewable energy and resource sustainability.

The meeting also addressed Tajikistan’s initiative regarding the “International Decade for Actionon Water for Sustainable Development” for the period 2018–2028, which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, and its role in strengthening international cooperation to address water-related challenges. For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his country’s appreciation for Kuwait’s support of development efforts in Tajikistan, looking forward to expanding the horizons of joint cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of the two friendly countries.
