Dr. Sobeeh Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizim, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy,

received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the State of Kuwait, Jang Hyun Kim.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of electricity,

water, and renewable energy, and exchanged views on regional developments and topics of

common interest.

The discussion covered opportunities to leverage Korean technology and expertise to develop the

Ministry's projects, improve the efficiency and reliability of the electricity and water systems,

and deploy modern technologies and smart solutions in operations and maintenance.

Dr. Al-Mukhaizim emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and

exchanging expertise, highlighting the opportunities presented by future projects for specialized

Korean companies. He noted that these opportunities contribute to knowledge transfer,

technology localization, and the development of infrastructure.

Furthermore, both sides discussed encouraging Korean technology providers to participate in the

Ministry’s upcoming projects, building on the existing cooperation between the two countries to serve mutual interests and support development goals.
