05-09-2026 Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Participates in “Environmental Dialogues 2026” at The Scientific Center

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, represented by its media and awareness team for conservation under the national energy and water conservation campaign “Wafer,” participated in the “Environmental Dialogues 2026” event. This event was organized by the Scientific Center in cooperation with the Environment Public Authority, and included the participation of several governmental, academic, and research entities concerned with environmental issues.

The head of the media and awareness team for conservation, Engineer Khadijah Abdul Redha Mishari, delivered a lecture entitled “Towards Sustainability… Wafer,” which addressed the relationship between the conservation of electricity and water, and preserving the environment. She discussed the impact of optimal resource use in reducing pressure on natural resources and lowering emissions associated with electricity and water production processes.

The lecture also addressed the link between conservation and the protection of coastal and marine environments, its role in reducing environmental impacts and preserving natural environments and their biodiversity, and highlighted the efforts of the national “Wafer” campaign in disseminating a culture of conservation and promoting the concept of sustainability within the community.
