Under the patronage and in the presence of HE Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy Dr. Subaih Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizim, and Undersecretary Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Zamil, and with the participation of a number of leaders and employees of the Ministry, the Public Relations and Citizen Service Department organized a national event to commemorate the anniversary of the brutal invasion, entitled "With the Help of Its Sons," in the lobby of the Ministry's main building.

The event emphasized the Ministry's keenness to commemorate the sacrifices of the heroes who gave their lives and efforts to ensure the continuity of electricity and water services during the occupation period, and to document the heroic role played by the Ministry's employees in facing these fateful challenges. The event was attended by a number of former employees who played an active role in that journey, sharing their testimonies and recollections of the events.

The Ministry also extends its thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the event, especially the Expo 965 team, which participated by displaying rare items dating back to the invasion period, including old bills, documents, and national photos, as well as memorial plaques expressing the spirit of steadfastness. Mr. Fahad Al-Najjar also presented an interactive digital presentation with scenes and paintings that recount the suffering of Kuwait during that era and immortalize the sacrifices of its people.

May God have mercy on the righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Kuwait, and we ask the Almighty to preserve our dear homeland under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him.
