The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, represented by the National Campaign for Energy and Water Conservation “Wafer” and the Renewable Energy Department, participated in the “Sustainable Living and Energy Efficiency in Buildings” event, which was organized by the Kuwait Oil Tankers Company for its employees, as part of efforts to promote the concepts of sustainability and preserve natural resources.
The participation included an awareness lecture on the importance of rationalizing electricity and water consumption, best daily practices and modern solutions that contribute to raising consumption efficiency in the workplace and homes, in addition to highlighting the latest trends in the field of renewable energy and its role in supporting environmental sustainability.
The ministry also participated in the awareness exhibition accompanying the event, where it showcased the most prominent initiatives of the national campaign to save energy and water, “Save,” along with a number of energy and water-saving technologies and innovations, which enhance environmental awareness and encourage employees to adopt more sustainable practices and behaviors.
This participation comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to expand the scope of cooperation with state institutions and the oil sector, and to unify national efforts aimed at establishing a culture of rationalization, achieving optimal use of energy and water resources, and supporting the State of Kuwait’s directions towards a more sustainable future.
