The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, represented by the National Campaign for Energy and Water Conservation “Save”, launched a strategic media partnership with the Ministry of Information, in a step aimed at unifying media and awareness efforts to promote a culture of rationalizing electricity and water consumption, and to establish positive behaviors among members of society, in support of the state’s directions in preserving natural resources and achieving sustainable development.
This partnership comes within the framework of integration between state institutions, and stems from the importance of unifying media and awareness messages to raise the level of community awareness of the importance of optimal use of electricity and water, and to encourage different segments of society to adopt sustainable conservation practices.
The partnership includes implementing an integrated media plan that includes intensifying the presence of the national “Save” campaign through television and radio programs, producing diverse awareness content that suits different age groups, in addition to preparing awareness flashes, filmed field reports, short media messages, and hosting specialists in talk shows to provide practical guidance that contributes to promoting a culture of rational use of electricity and water.
The partnership also includes using digital platforms and social media to deliver awareness messages in innovative ways and with interactive content that keeps pace with the public’s interests, which contributes to expanding the campaign’s reach to different segments of society and enhancing its impact.
This partnership embodies a model of institutional cooperation between government entities in supporting national initiatives aimed at consolidating the concepts of sustainability, where the Ministry of Information plays a pivotal role in disseminating awareness messages and promoting community awareness, which contributes to transforming the culture of rationalization into daily practices that support the efficient use of electricity and water.
The national campaign “Save” continues to develop its awareness programs and tools, and expand its partnerships with government agencies and community institutions, based on the principle of shared responsibility, and in the belief that rationalizing electricity and water consumption is a national responsibility, and that every positive behavior contributes to supporting energy and water security and preserving resources for future generations.
