The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Engineer Fatima Abbas Jawhar Hayat, expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to citizens, residents, all government agencies, state institutions, media outlets, the private sector, and everyone who contributed to spreading awareness messages through various social media platforms and messaging applications, stressing that this interaction and cooperation reflected a high level of community awareness and an authentic spirit, embodied in the rapid response and solidarity to serve the nation.

She explained that the community’s support for the awareness messages, which the country witnessed yesterday and today - Friday and Saturday, July 17 and 18 - and everyone’s keenness to republish and circulate them, had a direct impact on delivering the ministry’s messages to the widest possible segment of the community, which contributed to strengthening the culture of rationalization during the exceptional stage that the country is going through.

She emphasized that the commitment and cooperation of citizens and residents in rationalizing electricity consumption enabled the Ministry - thanks to God - to overcome the difficult phase that the electrical system witnessed yesterday and today, and had a noticeable impact on reducing electricity consumption from expected levels, and contributed to supporting the efforts of the technical teams to maintain the stability of the electrical system and the continuity of service.

She concluded by noting that the ministry relies on the continuation of the spirit of shared responsibility, calling on everyone to consolidate the culture of rationalization as a national and civilized behavior that contributes to protecting resources and maintaining the stability of the electricity and water systems, in a way that serves the public interest and ensures the sustainability of services for all.
