The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has launched a service for people with disabilities through its website during a ceremony held this Sunday morning, attended by Undersecretary Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Zamil, a number of leaders and ministry officials, along with representatives from government agencies responsible for the affairs of persons with disabilities.
The launch of this service is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to improve its online services and streamline procedures to obtain them, in line with the government's efforts toward digital transformation, and enhances the quality of services provided to various segments of society, particularly people with disabilities.
During the ceremony, Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Zamil emphasized the importance of the Ministry's commitment to providing more accessible and comprehensive services, including those that take into account the needs of people with disabilities and enable them to conduct their transactions efficiently and conveniently through electronic channels, noting that this step reflects the ministry’s commitment to adopting best practices in digital government services.
The ceremony included a demonstration of how the new service works and the benefits it offers to beneficiaries, in addition to a description of the procedures on the Ministry's website.
