The State of Kuwait, represented by the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, will host the Gulf Forum for Electricity and Water Conservation 2025 under the patronage of the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment. The forum will be held at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center on Wednesday and Thursday, November 5-6, 2025.
This hosting comes as one of the effective steps in communicating with our brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and enhancing cooperation in the areas of rationalization, sustainability, energy efficiency, exchange of practical experiences, and benefiting from those experiences.
The forum includes panel discussions with representatives from relevant entities in the field of electrical energy and water in the GCC countries to enrich attendees with their practical expertise and experiences that promote sustainability and raise the level of innovation. These sessions focus on several topics, including:
First axis: Policies, legislation, and performance indicators in the field of energy and water efficiency and rationalization of consumption.
The second theme: Gulf innovation, strategies, and entrepreneurship in water efficiency.
Third axis: Awareness and social responsibility in the electricity and water sectors.
Fourth pillar: Transition to a green economy to promote sustainability in the Gulf.
These sessions are run by a group of Gulf experts in the field of electrical energy and water.
The forum will also include the announcement of the winners of the Gulf Excellence Award for Energy Efficiency and Rationalization of Electricity and Water, launched by the Gulf Committee for Electricity and Water Rationalization and Subscriber Services and its affiliated teams. The award comprises three categories:
Gulf Excellence Award for Energy Efficiency in Buildings.
Best Gulf Influencer Award for Electricity and Water Conservation.
Best Gulf Electronic Application Award for Electricity and Water Conservation.
This award serves as a platform to embrace innovators in the field of sustainability and rationalize electricity and water consumption to create a new awareness towards a more sustainable future for the Gulf region.
