The spokesperson for the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Engineer Fatima Abbas Jawhar Hayat, announced that tomorrow the ministry will begin regular maintenance work on the components of the electrical system, from power generation units and electrical transmission networks to secondary substations. This is part of its annual plan to increase the efficiency of the electrical system, enhance its readiness, and minimize emergency breakdowns.

She explained that some of these works may result in temporary power cuts in certain areas, according to the announced schedules, as the work is being carried out according to an organized program that ensures the tasks are completed quickly. She also confirmed that the ministry will send notifications to customers affected by the maintenance work via the government's "Sahel" app, based on the data registered with the Public Authority for Civil Information, and will provide a direct link via the ministry's official social media accounts to follow the status and stages of maintenance, both at the start and upon completion.

Engineer Fatima Jawhar Hayat concluded by emphasizing that these efforts are part of the ministry's ongoing plan to develop its networks and improve the quality of services provided. She also thanked citizens and residents for their cooperation and understanding of the importance of this work.
