He received Dr. Adel Muhammad Al-Zamil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, His Excellency the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the State of Kuwait, Dr. Matar Hamid Al-Neyadi, and Dr. Muhammad Jamil Al-Ramahi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Source), along with the accompanying delegation, in the presence of several of the ministry’s leaders.
Within the framework of activating the memorandum of understanding that was signed between the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in the State of Kuwait and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates in June 2025, which strengthens bilateral cooperation frameworks between the two brotherly countries in related areas.
The memorandum of understanding is a fundamental step toward achieving Gulf integration, the exchange of experiences and technology transfer, and the implementation of joint projects. The discussion focused on methods of joint cooperation in the field of renewable energy and benefiting from the pioneering role played by the United Arab Emirates, as it provides innovative and sustainable solutions that contribute to the shift toward clean energy, the development of infrastructure, and energy conservation and efficiency techniques. This motivates innovation in this sector and offers sustainable solutions that suit the needs of the future, thus supporting the implementation of future projects of the Ministry, such as the Al-Shuqaya Project for the first and second regions and the development of the electrical system in line with future plans for renewable energy projects and the vision of Kuwait 2035.
