16-06-2025 The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Abdel Aziz Al-Makhizim, held a meeting with the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company to discuss aspects of cooperation within the memorandum of understanding between the two countries.

The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Abdulaziz Al-Makhizim, received His Excellency the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the State of Kuwait, Dr. Matar Hamid Al-Neyadi, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Adel Muhammad Al-Zamil, and a number of the ministry’s leaders. A meeting was held via visual contact with representatives of the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Energy) in the United Arab Emirates and several experts and specialists in the fields of electrical energy and water. Representatives of the Energy Company also presented a visual offer on the company and its most important projects completed locally and regionally.

The meeting aimed to activate the memorandum of understanding that was signed between the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in the State of Kuwait and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates earlier this month, enhancing the bilateral cooperation frameworks in the relevant areas.

The memorandum of understanding is an essential step towards achieving Gulf integration, the exchange of experiences, technology transfer, and the implementation of joint projects between the two brotherly countries.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to form a joint technical team to study proposed projects and follow up on their implementation within a specific time frame in order to achieve the strategic goals of both parties in the fields of energy and water.
