During the visit, Her Excellency was briefed on the details of the incident and the technical measures taken immediately afterward. She also received a presentation from the plant’s technical team on the prompt response to a minor fire that broke out in one of the fuel tanks, as well as the emergency plans that were activated in accordance with the highest safety and security standards.

Her Excellency commended the rapid response of the security and safety teams, whose efforts—by the grace of God—successfully contained and controlled the incident without any human casualties. The damages were limited to minor material losses. She praised the efficiency and readiness of the national workforce in handling such emergency situations.

She further emphasized that the electricity and water systems are operating efficiently and steadily, noting that the Ministry’s teams continue to carry out technical inspections and evaluations to ensure the safety of all units and equipment, while taking necessary precautionary measures to guarantee uninterrupted service.

At the conclusion of the visit, Her Excellency affirmed the continued full readiness across all sectors of the Ministry, in line with the directives of the country’s leadership, praying for the continued safety, security, and stability of the State of Kuwait and its wise leadership.
