His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, paid an inspection visit to the National Water Control Centre of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, accompanied by the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr Sabih Abdulaziz Sabih Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizeem, and in the presence of the Undersecretary, Dr Adel Mohammed Al-Zamil, and a number of the Ministry’s senior officials and specialists.
During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the center’s operations and observed the water system’s operational mechanisms, listening to a detailed explanation of the indicators of the water network’s stability, the level of technical and operational readiness, and the readiness of specialist teams to reinforce preventive measures and respond immediately to any emergency, thereby ensuring the continuity of service with high efficiency and reliability.
His Highness emphasized the importance of maintaining the stability of the water network, as it is a vital service linked to the lives of citizens and residents, stressing the need to continue raising the level of readiness and applying the highest standards of safety and security.
His Highness the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the national staff and teams working in the water operations and maintenance sector, commending their dedicated efforts and tireless work to ensure the stability of the water network with high efficiency around the clock.
The Ministry values this visit, which reflects the great support and interest in the electricity and water sectors, affirming that its national staff will continue to perform their duties with full readiness and responsibility to serve the nation and its citizens.
