Engineer Fatima Abbas Jwhar Hayat, the official speaker for the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that the Ministry’s technical teams had successfully restored an overhead power transmission line to service, following the completion of repairs to damage caused by falling debris in the southern side of the country, in addition to the seven lines previously announced.

She explained that the repair work had been carried out in accordance with the highest technical standards and health and safety procedures, and confirmed that the electricity grid was stable and that technical teams were ready to deal with any emergency.

She also expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the national team of engineers and technicians who worked efficiently around the clock to enhance the reliability of the electricity system and ensure its stability.
