His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, paid an inspection visit to the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy building, where he was received by the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Sabih Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizeem; the Undersecretary, Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Zamil; and a number of ministry officials and specialists.

His Highness held a meeting with ministry officials to review the key preparations and measures taken to ensure the continuity of electricity and water services under all circumstances. The meeting included a review of the technical and operational readiness of the production, transmission, and distribution sectors, as well as the approved operational plans to enhance the stability of the electricity and water systems.

His Highness the Prime Minister also visited the shelter center located in the Ministry building, where he was briefed on operational procedures, available resources, and the safety protocols in place to ensure the facilities are prepared to handle any emergency in accordance with approved requirements.

During the visit, His Highness discussed coordination and integration mechanisms with relevant government agencies to help enhance the protection of critical infrastructure, maintain the safety of the national grid, and ensure the stability and continuity of electricity and water services in the country.

His Highness praised the efforts of the Ministry’s national staff, commending their ongoing work to maintain the efficiency of the electricity and water systems and ensure the continuity of vital services for citizens and residents.
