20-07-2025 The participation of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in a symposium titled "Save" organized by the Kuwaiti Oil Tanker Company.

Within the framework of the national campaign to rationalize electricity and water consumption, "Save" the Kuwait Oil Tankers organized, in cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, an awareness event on Thursday morning under the title "Save" in the lecture hall of the company's main building.

The event was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Energy, Dr. Adel Al-Zamil; Vice President and CEO for Fleet Operations in the Kuwaiti Oil Tanker Company, Captain Youssef Al-Saqr; and Vice-Chairman of the Electricity and Water Consumption Teaching Committee in the State of Kuwait, Engineer Fatima Jawhar Hayat. They were accompanied by a number of ministry leaders from the company, representatives of technical and media teams, and a crowd of employees and those interested in the field of energy efficiency.

The symposium included several awareness lectures. Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim from the media and awareness team presented a lecture entitled "To All for Sustainability - Save" reviewing the most prominent achievements of the national campaign "Save" as well as the most important results achieved in the field of consumption rationalization, in addition to future plans to enhance sustainability.

Engineer Sarah Al-Hudaoud also provided a specialized lecture on the Kuwaiti Oil Tankers Company's success in achieving substantial savings in electrical energy consumption in its buildings by applying a number of technical initiatives.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Zamil stressed the importance of these activities in raising institutional and societal awareness, pointing out the significance of cooperation between the governmental and oil sectors to achieve the state's goals in the field of environmental sustainability and economics.

In turn, Captain Youssef Al-Saqer appreciated this fruitful cooperation and praised the role of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in supporting rationalization programs, confirming the company's commitment to continue its approach to reducing waste and raising energy efficiency in various operational facilities.

This event comes within the series of "Save" campaign initiatives that seek to spread the culture of rationalization and activate sustainable practices at the state level.
